Derrin is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Administration for St. Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan.  Derrin's responsibilities include the long term financial health of STM and the general administrative functions of STM.  Derrin has worked in several public and private sector organizations for the past 17 years.  Derrin's significant areas of work include the development of organizational strategic plans, risk management and corporate governance policies and procedures, and development of various performance management systems. 

Derrin also has taught undergraduate classes in Financial and Management Accounting at the Edwards School of Business since 2001 as a sessional lecturer and has also been a moderator in the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Strategic Leadership Program since 2000.

Derrin is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan Arts and Science (1989 Mathematics) and College of Commerce (1992 Accounting).  Derrin also is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA 1997) and has the designation of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA 2000).
