Biography
Fred Phillips joined the University of Saskatchewan in 1996 after receiving his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. His research and teaching interests are primarily in accounting education and assurance services. His research publications appear in Journal of Accounting Research, Behavioral Research in Accounting, Contemporary Accounting Research, Issues in Accounting Education, Journal of Education for Business, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Perceptual and Motor Skills, CA Magazine, and the Journal of Accounting Case Research. He is a coauthor of four accounting textbooks published by McGraw-Hill. He has received awards for his research, case-writing, textbook-writing, and teaching.
